Why is it that some people are more worth than others?
We who are born wealthy often look down at the poor people or refugees coming to our countries. Though they can have a higher education than us, we often don’t respect them.
I have most of my adult life been living abroad, in other countries than my native. This means that I have never mastered the language I speak completely. It doesn’t matter how many language I master, the person infront of me still judge me for not speaking his or her language fluently. I have done this myself many times.
There is a wise saying going something like this: You should not judge others by how far they have come, since you don’t know how far they have walked.
If we could only see and honor each other for the living being we are, and not the color, skills, education or amount of money we have on the bank account.
